New Zealand’s All Whites coach Darren Bazeley has called up three uncapped players from Wellington Phoenix—Corban Piper, Matt Sheridan, and Nathan Walker—for the upcoming match against India. The trio, who have not previously represented the national team, are expected to gain international experience in the upcoming game. Bazeley expressed hope that the players might “explode on the international scene” during the match. The decision comes as part of a strategy to inject fresh talent into the squad ahead of the encounter. The match against India is set to take place in late September, with the team aiming to secure a strong performance. The inclusion of the three players marks a significant step in the development of young talent within the national team setup. This move reflects a broader effort to diversify the squad and enhance competitive depth ahead of key fixtures.
