Linda and Jessica Reid are preparing to compete together in a powerlifting event in Fiji next weekend. The duo, known for their strong physical presence, will showcase their strength and endurance in a local competition. The event will take place at the National Sports Complex in Suva, the capital of Fiji.
The competition will feature several categories, including women's powerlifting and combined family challenges. Linda, the mother, and Jessica, the daughter, have trained extensively for the event, focusing on core strength and lifting techniques. They plan to demonstrate their ability to lift heavy weights while maintaining balance and control.
This event marks the first time a mother and daughter pair have competed together in a powerlifting competition in Fiji. It highlights the growing interest in strength sports among women in the country. The organizers hope the event will inspire more families to participate in physical activities.
